Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant science is essential
• Postgraduate qualification or PhD is desirable
• Proven experience in medical writing within a medical communications agency or similar environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating an in-depth scientific knowledge of allocated accounts, including awareness of emerging evidence and trends, and using this to shape medical communications materials
• Developing a full range of written deliverables for allocated projects, accounts, or workstreams
• Understanding, applying, and contributing to product strategy in all work
• Taking the lead on scientific content discussions with clients and external experts
• Serving as a trusted scientific partner to client teams on allocated accounts, providing informed guidance and proactive recommendations
• Collaborating with internal colleagues and departments to ensure the seamless delivery of projects
• Contributing to new business opportunities
