Job summary
Cadent, powered by Syneos Health, is seeking a medical writer to develop innovative scientific narratives for medical communications across multiple disease areas. You will synthesize data, conduct literature reviews, and collaborate with internal teams to produce slides, brochures, and digital content for clients.
Some travel may be required. Education includes PhD/MD/PharmD with 0–1 years of pharma or medical communications experience.
Qualifications
- PhD/MD/PharmD education required or preferred.
- 0–1 year pharma or medical communications agency experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative scientific narratives for medical communication needs tailored to client products and contexts.
- Synthesize, prioritize and visualize data for assets.
- Conduct literature searches to understand new therapeutic areas.
- Interpret complex scientific data for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with medical team to create slides, text and videos/scripts for education programs.
- Participate in client meetings to review content and gather feedback.
- Ensure scientific accuracy with references and perform quality control.
- Update content based on feedback and track project deadlines with account/medical teams.
- Travel up to 10% for advisory boards or conferences as needed.
