Syneos Health/ inVentiv Health Commercial LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Writer to lead the preparation and coordination of complex writing deliverables for multiple studies. You will ensure scientific accuracy, manage cross‑department activities, and resolve client comments with minimal supervision.

This role emphasizes strict adherence to ICH E3 and internal SOPs, mentoring junior writers, coordinating quality reviews, and maintaining budgeted hours while delivering on time.

Qualifications

• Strong background in medical writing and regulatory standards (ICH E3).
• Experience leading writing projects and coordinating cross‑department teams.
• Ability to mentor junior writers on complex studies.
• Excellent documentation, editing, and project budgeting awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead medical writing deliverables and coordinate activities across departments.
• Prepare journal manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with ICH E3, SOPs, templates, and style guides.
• Coordinate quality reviews and manage source documentation.
• Serve as peer reviewer for scientific content and formatting.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to produce deliverables.
• Provide technical support and contribute to internal materials.
• Mentor less experienced writers on complex projects.
• Develop topic expertise on industry regs and guidelines.
• Monitor budgeted hours and communicate status to leadership.
• Complete administrative tasks within deadlines.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
