Job summary

Syneos Health/ inVentiv Health Commercial LLC seeks a senior medical writer to lead the creation and coordination of writing deliverables for multiple studies. You will ensure clarity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance across manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.

Responsibilities include leading client communications, coordinating cross‑functional reviews, mentoring junior writers, and managing budgeted hours.

Qualifications

• Leads the completion of medical writing deliverables for studies.
• Adheres to ICH E3 guidelines and SOPs when completing projects.
• Coordinates quality and editorial reviews and manages source documentation.

Responsibilities

• Leads manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
• Coordinates client comments and across-department activities with minimal supervision.
• Mentors less experienced medical writers on complex projects.
• Ensures budgeted hours and timelines are met and reports status to leadership.
• Interacts with clients, data management, biostatistics, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs to produce deliverables.
• Assists in development of internal materials and process improvements.
• Provides training and consultation to staff on writing best practices.
• Aware of regulatory requirements and industry guidelines affecting medical writing.
• Performs other duties and supports travel requirements (≤25%).
