Job summary

Syneos Health/ inVentiv Health Commercial LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Writer to lead the development of scientific documents and manage writing activities across multiple studies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and coach junior writers to maintain highest quality standards.

The role requires strong project management, excellent communication with clients, and a deep understanding of ICH E3 guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience leading medical writing deliverables and teams.
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Ability to coordinate across departments with minimal supervision.
• Mentor and develop junior writers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead timely, accurate medical writing deliverables across studies.
• Coordinate activities within and across departments and with clients.
• Mentor less experienced writers on complex projects.
• Review documents for scientific content, clarity and format.
• Support budget management and status updates to leadership.
• Provide training and consultation to staff.
• Perform internal document reviews and quality checks.
• Engage with data management, biostatistics and regulatory teams as needed.
