Job summary

Littleton-Regional-Healthcare seeks a Medical Technologist for full-time work in the Littleton, NH laboratory. You will perform functions of the Medical Technologist, oversee bench work when needed, and ensure procedures are current and compliant with guidelines.

You will review results for accuracy, support a quality control program, and assist in training staff while maintaining regulatory standards and collaborating with physicians and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of an approved Medical Technology program.
• 4 years of experience in high and moderate complexity testing.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; AS degree with experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions of a Medical Technologist; bench technologist when needed.
• Write/revise procedures in assigned area; ensure currency and compliance with guidelines.
• Review daily all laboratory results for accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining a Quality Control program and recommend corrective actions.
• Orient and train new laboratory personnel and assist in developing others' skills.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and physicians to exchange information and ensure smooth workflow.
