Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT, seeks a Sr. Medical Technologist for the Automated Lab. This 40-hour evening shift role involves oversight of operations, education, and ensuring readiness for inspections.

You will perform complex laboratory tests across neonatal to geriatric patients, train staff and students, and maintain essential equipment and systems. A Bachelor’s in Medical Technology and MT-ASCP are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory.
• MT-ASCP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations on the evening shift in the Automated Lab.
• Perform a variety of complex tests across specimen types.
• Provide teaching/education to lab students and personnel.
