Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT, is seeking a Medical Technologist to join the Microbiology Lab Team. You will perform and report a wide range of analyses across lab sections, impacting diagnosis and patient care.

The role requires a BS in Medical Technology or AS in Medical Lab Technology, and MT-ASCP/MLT-ASCP certification or eligibility within the first year. 32-hour day shifts with rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology or AS in Medical Lab Technology.
• MT-ASCP or MLT-ASCP; eligible to take certification exam within first year.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report a wide range of routine and highly complex analyses across multiple lab sections.
• Calibrate analyzers and equipment; complete preventive maintenance; troubleshoot malfunctions.
