Job summary

Vantive is seeking a Senior System Engineer to guide the technical direction of chronic therapy products. You will drive product development lifecycle activities, manage requirements and risks, and collaborate with global teams to deliver safe, compliant solutions for home dialysis devices.

The role emphasizes systems thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on problem solving to improve patient care and therapy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s with relevant experience in engineering.
• Medical devices experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of systems engineering across electromechanical and software domains.
• Understanding of connected, software-enabled devices and cyber security.
• Experience with risk-based analysis and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering for one or more medical device products across lifecycle stages.
• Translate clinical and user needs into product requirements and design concepts.
• Capture inputs from user needs, regulatory standards, and other stakeholds.
• Drive design concepts, risk management, and verification/validation activities.
• Maintain design history files and ensure traceability.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
