Job summary

Elekta in Crawley is seeking a software engineer to design and develop the next generation Radiation Therapy Treatment systems software. You will work on workflow, delivery, and imaging software integrated into safety-critical devices, in a regulated environment with CI/CD pipelines.

You will contribute to full stack development from UI to backend services, implement tests, and collaborate in SAFe/agile teams to deliver reliable solutions that improve patient outcomes worldwide.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Full stack development using .NET platform (C#, .NET Core).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
• Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, Agile and SAFe practices.
• Experience in medical devices or regulated/safety-critical domains.
• Front-end: Angular.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, develop and maintain application components, services and APIs.
• Full stack development from web and desktop UI to messaging and storage solutions.
• Maintain and enhance software quality metrics including test coverage and maintainability.
• Ensure code and system are well tested for full solution testing.
• Create and maintain tests at all stages (End: Angular).
• Contribute to CI/CD and test automation environments.
• Work in a scrum team to support priorities and remove blockers.
• Lead technical direction across teams.
