Job summary

Elekta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape the software platform powering future products. You will design and develop containerised services in a service‑oriented architecture using Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, and Azure, while contributing across the full stack and mentoring engineers.

You will collaborate in a high‑performing Scrum team, focus on scalability, cyber security, and observability, and drive CI/CD improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with .NET (C#) and modern frameworks.
  • Strong skills in building APIs and microservices (REST, gRPC) and working with PostgreSQL.
  • Frontend experience with Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Hands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar).
  • Familiarity with, open‑source.

Responsibilities

  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps to streamline delivery.
  • Apply cross-functional skills in development and test automation to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate to drive innovation in healthcare software.

What You'll Do At Elekta:

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the software platform that will power all future Elekta products.

  • Contribute to full-stack development, from modern web UIs to backend services and data solutions.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps to streamline delivery.
  • Apply cross-functional skills in development and test automation to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate, share knowledge, and drive innovation that makes a difference for healthcare professionals and patients.
