Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based MSL/Senior MSL to strategically support research and business objectives across designated therapeutic areas in a defined geography. You will be the primary scientific communicator with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities include developing relationships with thought leaders, presenting disease-state information, supporting investigator-initiated studies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and traveling up to 75% to cover the territory.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline (PharmD, MD/DO, PhD or equivalent).
• Ability to translate territory and corporate needs to support objectives.
• Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain professional relationships with thought leaders and researchers.
• Present scientific information to healthcare professionals across the product lifecycle.
• Support investigator-initiated studies and external collaborations.
• Create awareness and relationships for AbbVie in the medical community.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop account plans and support activities.
• Provide medical information and training to internal teams; ensure compliance and documentation.
