Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a field-based Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to strategically support a designated therapeutic area across the product life cycle in the DC/MD/DE geography. You will be the primary scientific communicator to healthcare professionals and build robust external relationships.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a health science field; MD/DO, PharmD, PhD, PA or similar preferred.
• Proven ability to communicate complex scientific information to healthcare professionals.
• Experience aligning scientific insights with research, clinical operations, and medical affairs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with thought leaders, centers, and researchers to ensure access to up-to-date medical information.
• Present scientific information and education to healthcare professionals across the product life cycle.
• Support research initiatives, investigator meetings, and external collaborations as requested by AbbVie teams.
• Act as a medical/scientific resource to healthcare providers and internal teams.
