Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join the US Medical team. This field-based role focuses on scientific data interpretation, customer insights, and building KOL/HCP networks across the Great Lakes territory, with Ohio as the ideal location.

You will travel up to 70% and externally engage KOLs/HCPs, support Takeda-sponsored research, and communicate medical insights in a compliant, balanced manner to advance medical strategy and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in life/health sciences preferred; Master’s degree is the minimum requirement.
• Excellent communication, organizational and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities expected to comprise ~80% of responsibilities.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans.
• Disseminate complex scientific information to KOLs/HCPs in a compliant, fair-balanced manner.
• Support sponsored research and facilitate investigator-initiated studies.
• Collect, interpret, and communicate medical insights to refine medical strategies.
• Identify partnership opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
• Present medical insights at conferences and staff booths.
• Respond to unsolicited HCP inquiries with documentation and compliance.
