Job summary

Palvella Therapeutics (NASDAQ: PVLA) seeks a Medical Science Liaison to advance scientific dialogue with dermatology and vascular anomaly experts, supporting late-stage and pre-commercial activities.

The role is field-based across the United States, with substantial travel (60–70%) and remote work within the US. The ideal candidate holds an advanced scientific degree and 3–5+ years in Medical Affairs or as an MSL, with a track record in rare skin diseases.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree required (PharmD/MD/PhD/NP/PA or equivalent).
• 3–5+ years in Medical Affairs or as an MSL.
• Ability to communicate complex data to diverse audiences.
• Experience with rare dermatologic conditions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality scientific exchange to dermatologists and investigators.
• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs).
• Communicate disease biology and QTORIN™ data with clarity and rigor.
• Support clinical development programs in microcystic lymphatic malformations and cutaneous venous malformations.
• Generate actionable field insights to inform Medical Affairs strategy.
• Partner cross-functionally with Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Commercial teams.
• Represent Palvella at dermatology, rare disease, and vascular anomaly congresses.
• Develop and refine medical materials and FAQs.
• Maintain current knowledge of mTOR biology and related data.
• Contribute to building a high-performing Medical Affairs organization.
