Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join the US Medical team. This field-based role covers the Midwest region, with ideal location Chicago, IL, and potential virtual work.

You will analyze scientific data, translate insights, and connect customers to Takeda to advance medical strategy and patient outcomes. You will build relationships with KOLs/HCPs, disseminate complex information in a compliant manner, support sponsored research, and document all activities in CRM.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as an MSL in pharma/biotech
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic areas and clinical data
• Ability to travel up to 70%

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain KOL/HCP relationships per territory plans
• Disseminate scientific data to healthcare professionals in a compliant manner
• Support Takeda-sponsored studies and investigator-initiated research
• Capture insights and communicate internally to inform strategy
• Manage duties with CRM and documentation accurately and timely
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute medical plans
