Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to drive external scientific engagement with KOLs and healthcare professionals across the US therapeutic areas. The role is field-based, reporting to the Director of MSL, with responsibilities spanning medical strategy execution, data interpretation, and collaboration on sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.

Ideal candidates hold a doctoral degree (PharmD/MD/PhD preferred) or a relevant MS, possess strong communication and collaboration

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in life/health sciences preferred; MS is minimum requirement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to execute activities within regulatory/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs/HCPs across assigned territories.
• Communicate complex scientific data accurately and fairly to external stakeholders.
• Support external research collaborations and investigator-initiated studies.
• Capture insights and document activities in CRM with diligence.
• Travel up to 70% for meetings and conferences as needed.
