Job summary

Praxis Precision Medicines is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support prelaunch and launch activities across the United States. The role centers on building trusted relationships with investigators and key stakeholders, delivering high-quality scientific exchange, and ensuring clinical and account readiness for potential approval.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, PA, or RN).
• Experience in medical affairs or field-based roles within biotech/pharma.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific data with credibility.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (~60-80%).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary field-based scientific partner to investigators and stakeholders, supporting prelaunch readiness and product adoption.
• Deliver high-quality scientific exchange on disease state and clinical data for the ulixacaltimide profile.
• Educate clinical sites and providers for launch, including patient identification and treatment considerations.
• Proactively gather and communicate field insights to inform medical and cross-functional strategy.
• Identify and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs) and emerging influencers for scientific engagement.
• Partner with Medical, Clinical Development, Market Access, and Commercial teams to align field strategy.
• Represent Praxis at scientific congresses and advisory engagements with credible recommendations.
• Maintain deep CNS expertise and apply insights to field strategy.
• Ensure field activities comply with regulatory requirements and Praxis SOPs.
