Magnendo Corp. is developing robotic technology to make endovascular procedures faster, safer, and more accessible.

We combine robotics, magnetic navigation, and intelligent software to tackle a critical healthcare challenge while expanding stroke care globally. We seek a Senior Simulation Engineer to design and build 3D simulation infrastructure powering system analysis, algorithm development, and testing.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building simulation tooling for robotics or complex electromechanical systems.
• Strong experience with ROS2 and building simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, Mujoco).
• Proficiency in Python and C++ for simulation infrastructure and tooling.
• Able to operate as an early startup hire, defining processes with rigor where needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop 3D robotic simulation infrastructure to support system analysis, algorithm development, software development, and testing.
• Evaluate and select 3rd party simulation frameworks and tooling (ROS2, Gazebo, IsaacSim, Mujoco, etc.).
• Develop simulation models of robot kinematics, dynamics, sensing, and environment interactions for algorithm development and validation.
• Partner with systems, robotics, and software engineers to define simulation requirements and ensure fidelity.
• Integrate simulation tooling into test and validation workflows to support system and software testing.
• Analyze simulation results to inform design decisions and iterate on fidelity as the system matures.
• Contribute to a rigorous engineering process aligned with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 14971).
