Job summary

Koniag Advisory Business Solutions LLC is seeking a Medical Records Technician Coder III in Oklahoma City. You will review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes, and support data integrity for a large healthcare mission serving hospitals and clinics.

The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to coding guidelines, and collaboration with providers. Hybrid schedule with on-site start and potential telework based on performance and client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 3+ years of experience in medical coding, medical records, or health information management; or an associate or bachelor degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or a related field with 1+ years of relevant coding experience.
• Completion of an accredited Health Information Management or Medical Coding program.
• Current coding certification such as CCS, CPC, RHIT, or equivalent preferred.
• Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, and related coding systems.

Responsibilities

• Medical Record Analysis: Reviews documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy of ambulatory or inpatient records.
• Medical Record Coding: Assigns ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS codes with appropriate sequencing.
• Administrative Support: Supports HIM operations, maintains productivity logs, and collaborates with staff.
