Job summary

Koniag Advisory Business Solutions LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Medical Records Technician Coder III in Oklahoma City to support coding, abstraction, and documentation integrity for hospital and clinic records in a high-volume healthcare setting.

Hybrid work arrangement with on-site onboarding; expected to meet productivity and accuracy standards while complying with HIPAA and security requirements. Public Trust eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 3+ years in medical coding/records, or associate/bachelor in HIM/Medical Coding with 1+ year experience.
• Completion of an accredited HIM or Medical Coding program.
• Current coding certification such as CCS/CPC/RHIT or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records for completeness and accuracy in ambulatory or inpatient visits.
• Assign ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS codes using encoder tools and references.
• Support documentation quality, audits, and provider queries; ensure compliance and productive workflows.
