Job summary

County of Riverside is seeking a Senior Medical Records Technician – Document Integrity (DI) in Riverside. The role leads processing and examination of patient medical records and supports audits, reporting, and process improvements within Health Information Management.

Requirements include 4–5 years HIM or medical records experience in acute care and RHIT or RHIA certification; associate degree in medical records technology; bilingual skills preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years Health Information Management or Medical Records experience in an acute care setting.
• RHIT or RHIA certification preferred.
• Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead processing and examination of patient medical, mental health, and vital records.
• Assist in preparing regular and special reports and audits.
• Serve as liaison to ambulatory providers and clinical staff.
• Analyze data to identify trends and support process improvement initiatives.
• Train and review work of subordinate staff.
