Job summary

Jefferson Health in Philadelphia seeks an Ambulatory Nurse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of outpatient services, ensuring safe, efficient and evidence-based patient care. You will drive staffing, budgeting, and policy development in collaboration with ambulatory leaders.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, a current license, and 5 years of nursing experience (or 1 year in a supervisory role). A Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Masters in Nursing, Public Health or Business Administration preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience or at least 1 year in a nursing supervisory position.
• BLS/ACLS Certification and current State Nursing License.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational management and administration of ambulatory care activities.
• Plan, staff, coordinate and evaluate day-to-day operations.
• Ensure clinical practice aligns with standards and policies across the practice and hospital.
• Provide clinical expertise to staff, management and patients.
• Manage department budget and resource utilization.
• Coach team members and conduct annual evaluations of direct reports.
