Qualifications

• Certification by one of the following: American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physics in Radiation Oncology Physics or Canadian College of Medical Physics.
• Licensure in the state of practice as required.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and evaluate radiation treatment plans to ensure precise and effective patient care.
• Provide expert technical guidance for radiation therapy procedures, technologies, and treatment delivery.
• Partner with Radiation Oncology leadership and clinical teams to maintain comprehensive quality management and quality assurance programs.
• Collaborate with the Radiation Safety Officer to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold the highest standards of radiation safety.
• Support the implementation of new technologies, treatment techniques, and process improvements that enhance patient outcomes.
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork, excellence, and continuous learning within the Radiation Oncology department.
