Job summary

Maryland Oncology Hematology is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee business and front office operations at a MOH location in Maryland. You will supervise non-clinical staff, coordinate billing and scheduling, and ensure compliance with the US Oncology standards.

The role requires a strong background in medical office management, a high school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred), and a minimum of seven years of leadership experience in a medical office.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees daily business office operations including patient billing, collections, reimbursement, and computer operations.
  • Oversees front office activities including scheduling, reception, and insurance authorization/verification.
  • Implements reimbursement policies and assists with policy development to maximize reimbursement and compliance with laws.
  • Prepares monthly reimbursement and financial reports for the business office.
  • Coordinates office procedures between front office, business office, and clinical teams to ensure smooth information flow.
