Qualifications

• Associate degree in Clinical Laboratory Science; ASCP or AMT preferred or CLIA High Complexity equivalent
• Bilingual English and Navajo preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Background check required for Child Care position

Responsibilities

• Performs routine, complex, and unusual tests in hematology, immunohematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, microbiology, serology and rapid tests
• Operates and maintains quality control procedures; keeps records for QA reports
• Evaluates specimen suitability and reports results to appropriate personnel
• Oversees lab workflow and assists phlebotomists as lead worker
• Maintains confidentiality and adheres to Winslow Indian Health Care Center policies
• Participates in proficiency testing and staff training
