Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia is hiring a Medical Technologist for the night shift. Under supervision, you will perform clinical laboratory testing across General Lab and Blood Bank, ensure quality, maintain equipment, and support training within the lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Health Science or General or a Master's (preferred).
• MT(ASCP) or equivalent certifications required upon hire.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blood and body fluids for ordered tests in General Lab, Blood Bank, or Microbiology.
• Perform routine testing in hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, and microbiology.
• Maintain QC, safety logs, and track workload; communicate results per policy.
• Train and mentor technologists; provide coverage in supervisors' absence.
