Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field (preferred).
Certifications required at hire: MT(ASCP)/MT(AMT)/MT(AAB)/MT(HEW) or MLS(ASCP/AMT) or MB(ASCP)/H(ASCP)/M(ASCP) as applicable.
Minimum 1 year laboratory experience preferred.
Proficiency in Excel/Word; Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs clinical laboratory testing according to established protocols.
Maintains instrument accuracy and lab records; participates in QA and competency testing.
Analyzes, interprets and reports lab data with appropriate clinical correlation.
Adheres to safety and regulatory standards and participates in continuous improvement.
