Job summary

Abrazo Scottsdale Campus Hospital seeks a Medical Technologist to process and test patient specimens, review results, and troubleshoot complex lab instrumentation. You will train staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to quality control, instrument validation, and adherence to CAP/TCJ/AABB standards.

Three years of acute care experience and registry eligibility (ASCP/NCA/AMT/CSMLS) within 12 months are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent.
• Experience: 3 years as a medical technologist in acute care facility.
• Licensure/Certifications: Registered or registry eligible (ASCP/NCA/AMT/CSMLS within 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Process and test all types of laboratory specimens.
• Review and report lab results.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Serve as a resource to other laboratory personnel.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with CAP/TCJ/AABB or other accrediting agencies; ensure quality assurance/control.
