Job summary

Abrazo West Campus Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to process and test laboratory specimens, review results, and troubleshoot instrumentation. You will serve as a resource to other laboratory personnel in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in medical technology or equivalent, and eligibility or certification with ASCP/NCA/AMT/CSMLS within 12 months of hire, with state licensure as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or equivalent. (CLIA High Complexity testing eligibility)
• Registered or registry eligible with an approved certifying agency within 12 months of hire.
• State licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Process and test all types of laboratory specimens.
• Review and report lab results.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Serve as resource to other laboratory personnel.
• Other related tasks as assigned.
