Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or relevant discipline required.
• At least three years of clinical laboratory experience required.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by ASCP BOC or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing with ability to prioritize multiple procedures.
• Recognize unusual results and resolve discrepancies; troubleshoot instruments.
• Develop, draft, revise SOPs, training documents, validation/verification plans and summaries.
• Maintain effective communication with the Department and Laboratory Services personnel.
