HM Insurance Group seeks an experienced underwriter to price quotes and analyze contract structures for group-based plans. You will determine profitability, manage risk, and influence pricing strategies across multiple markets while ensuring compliance with HMIG policies.

The role requires strong mathematical ability, 5–7 years of underwriting experience, and the capacity to analyze data to support enrollment and renewals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (math, actuarial science, finance, business, CS).
• 6 years relevant, progressive experience in underwriting.
• 5–7 years' underwriting experience for self-funded and converting to self-funding.
• Strong math aptitude and analytical skills; able to use data and reports.

Responsabilités

• Renew accounts and write new business at profitable levels.
• Calculate rates and adapt pricing to market conditions.
• Assess risk patterns and provide recommendations to clients and internal teams.
• Support compliance and data analytics initiatives.
