Job summary

Merit Medical Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced medical education professional to translate business objectives into education plans for physicians across multiple therapeutic areas.

You will design curricula, manage programs, recruit faculty, and coordinate cross-functional partnerships to deliver compliant, impactful educational experiences. Qualifications

• Education and/or business experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree.
• Minimum of five years of experience in medical education, professional education, clinical education, healthcare training, medical device marketing, or a related healthcare field.
• Experience collaborating with commercial marketing, sales, clinical, medical, and other cross-functional stakeholders to develop programs aligned with business objectives.
• Experience engaging physician faculty, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and subject matter experts to support educational initiatives.
• Experience evaluating educational programs and measuring learning outcomes through established performance metrics.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs, vendors, budgets, timelines, and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, assess program effectiveness, and recommend continuous improvements.
• Demonstrated computer skills, including proficiency with presentation software, learning platforms, spreadsheets, word processing, and other applicable software programs.
• Medical device industry experience.
• Experience developing physician-focused education programs across multiple therapeutic or procedural specialties.
• Experience with hands-on physician training, simulation-based learning, and faculty development programs.
• Advanced degree in business, healthcare, education, clinical sciences, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting commercial marketing and franchise strategies through physician education initiatives.
