Job summary

Nurix Therapeutics is seeking a Medical Director / Senior Medical Director to guide clinical development in oncology and lead cross-functional teams across the Nurix pipeline. You will develop global development plans, author clinical protocols, and provide scientific support for regulatory filings and trainings, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer.

The role emphasizes safety oversight, data-trend analyses, and collaboration with Medical Monitor, Safety teams, and external committees.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in clinical or biological sciences (MD, PhD, or PharmD preferred).
15+ years (Executive Director) relevant drug development experience with minimum of 5 years’ experience in oncology clinical trials.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional clinical development teams with strong collaboration across study teams.
Develop and implement Global Development Plans with strategic clinical science support.
Lead in reviewing and authoring clinical protocols; interpret literature for regulatory submissions; support regulatory filings.
Oversee safety oversight of clinical trials with Medical Monitor and Safety team.
Contribute to data review plans, DSMB/SRC charters, and study manuals; ensure data quality and integrity.
Conduct literature reviews and prepare training materials for clinical team members.
Support business development as scientific expert; travel up to 25%.
