Job summary

Nurix Therapeutics is seeking a Medical Director / Senior Medical Director to lead clinical development in oncology as part of the Clinical Development Team. You will report to the Chief Medical Officer and guide strategy, safety oversight, and regulatory interactions for the Nurix pipeline.

The role requires extensive experience in drug development, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality clinical study designs. Travel up to 25% is possible.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in clinical or biological sciences (MD, PhD, or PharmD preferred).
• 15+ years of relevant drug development experience with minimum 5 years in oncology clinical trials.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional clinical development teams with strong collaboration with all team members.
• Develop and implement Global Development plans with senior staff.
• Lead in protocol reviews and authoring of clinical documents for regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate safety oversight with DSMB/Safety Review Committee and trial safety.
• Contribute to data review plans, CRFs, data edits, and SAE reconciliation.
• Support regulatory filings and investigator meetings for US and ex-US authorities.
• Train and mentor clinical scientists; support business development as a scientific expert.
