Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech seeks a Medical Director of Aesthetics & Reconstruction, a senior physician leader guiding medical affairs, evidence generation, and external scientific engagement. Qualifications

• MD or DO degree is required.
• Completion of accredited plastic surgery training is required.
• Current board certification in Plastic Surgery is required.
• Significant clinical experience in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in breast implants, breast reconstruction, aesthetic breast surgery, and contemporary surgical techniques is required.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based medicine, clinical research methodology, and interpretation of clinical data is required.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required for KOL engagement, customer interactions, professional society activities, advisory boards, and scientific congresses is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior medical subject-matter expert for aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery.
• Provide medical and scientific leadership for breast implants, tissue expanders, and related technologies.
• Provide strategic medical input into portfolio strategy, product development, lifecycle management, clinical development, regulatory strategy, and evidence generation.
• Evaluate emerging clinical science and translate developments into medical strategy.
• Provide evidence-based medical guidance regarding product safety, clinical performance, benefits, risks, and appropriate use.
• Establish and maintain relationships with national and international key opinion leaders, investigators, and academic centers.
• Represent the company at major scientific congresses and professional society meetings.
• Lead advisory boards, investigator meetings, and physician education activities.
• Gather meaningful medical insights from external experts and communicate to internal stakeholders.
