Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Saint Paul, MN to lead cross-functional teams through complex medical device projects, including NPI and contract design initiatives. You will drive scope, budget, and schedule, collaborate with customers and executives, and own governance and reporting across the project lifecycle.

The role requires 8+ years in project management within regulated environments; PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in regulated environments such as medical devices.
• PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Experience leading NPI and device design projects.
• Ability to manage scope, budget, and timelines.
• Excellent communication with customers, executives, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership and customers to create aligned project plans and schedules.
• Direct project activities to meet objectives, ensuring proper resources and timing.
• Anticipate, mitigate risks and provide clear visibility of status to stakeholders.
• Complete resource planning and reporting to meet milestones.
• Develop and improve PM tools, systems, and governance with teams.
• Conduct portfolio analysis to inform prioritization and decisions.
• Support business case development and ROI assessments with Finance.
• Own the full project life cycle from initiation through deployment.
• Communicate complex information effectively to various collaborators.
• Assist with project costing inputs for proposals with Commercial, Portfolio, and R&D.
• Coach and mentor junior PMs to grow organizational capability.
