Job summary

Medtronic plc in California is seeking a Sales Representative II, Pain Interventions, to manage a territory from Manhattan Beach to Irvine. You will sell implantable devices for chronic pain therapies and build referral networks with physicians, hospitals, and distributors.

The role requires 6+ years of medical device sales experience (or relevant combos) and a valid driver’s license. Travel ~75% within the territory; excellent relationship building and knowledge of reimbursement are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 6+ years or Associate’s with 4+ years or Bachelor’s with 2+ years in medical devices
• Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance
• Preferred: knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, and referral pathways
• Experience calling on Neurology, Physiatrist, Oncology, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care Physicians

Responsibilities

• Sells implantable devices for specific therapies to physicians, institutions, payors, and other appropriate medical staff
• Develops account/implanter practice with strategic centers and analyzes sales trends
• Generates new sales: develops leads, recruits new surgeons, qualifies prospects, and makes sales calls
• Attends meetings, training, conventions, and trade shows as directed
• Cooperates with all personnel on the execution of Company programs
