ProMed is seeking a Principal New Product Development Project Engineer in Minnesota to own projects from strategy to delivery. You will balance cost, timeline, quality, and risk while guiding teams and communicating with customers. This role emphasizes regulatory compliance and rapid product commercialization.<\/p>

The position emphasizes mentoring, collaboration, and technical leadership as we strengthen our manufacturing of critical medical components in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include English communication skills and experience in medical device development or regulated manufacturing.
• Bachelor of Science in engineering or physical science; Master’s degree with applicable experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering design and development to deliver complex product development initiatives on time and within budget.
• Lead planning activities including timelines, resources, and risk assessment.
• Prepare detailed project timelines and cost estimates based on technical specs.
• Apply design for manufacturing practices to translate requirements into feasible production solutions.
• Cultivate strategic customer relationships through expert technical consultation and communication.
• Mentor engineers and project managers to raise team capabilities and ensure quality systems adherence.
