Job summary

IntePros seeks an Engineering Project Manager to lead New Product Development for medical devices from concept to commercialization. You will manage cross-functional teams through phase-gate processes, build schedules, manage risks, and ensure design controls and quality systems are followed.

Responsibilities include coordinating engineering, regulatory, quality, and manufacturing readiness, delivering dashboards to leadership, and guiding multiple projects with shifting priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, PM, business, or related field.
• 3+ years of PM experience in medical devices or regulated industry preferred.
• Familiarity with design controls, risk management, and quality systems.

Engineering Project Manager – New Product Development

We’re seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams through the full medical device product development lifecycle—from concept through commercialization.

What You’ll Do

• Lead NPD projects using phase-gate, design control, and quality system processes
• Build and manage project schedules, Gantt charts, resources, milestones, and critical paths
• Coordinate Engineering, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, Clinical, Testing, and Supply Chain teams
• Lead project meetings, track action items, risks, and deliverables
• Support DHF documentation, product requirements, design reviews, and regulatory submissions

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field
• 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in medical devices or another regulated industry
• Strong knowledge of medical device design controls, risk management, and quality systems
• Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Strong project scheduling, risk management, and communication skills
• Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools
• Familiarity with manufacturing, design for manufacturability, and supply chain
• Class II/III medical device experience preferred
• PMP certification is a plus
• Occasional travel may be required
