Job summary

Orchard Marketing, part of the Enero Group, seeks a Senior Medical Copywriter in New York to develop accurate medical content for US pharmaceutical clients. You will translate complex concepts into clear copy, craft HCP campaigns and medical education materials, and lead brands from strategy to final proofs.

You will collaborate with design, strategy, accounts and project teams, ensuring on-brand, regulatory-compliant content while driving editorial quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of medical writing experience.
• Experience in HCP pharmaceutical advertising agencies.
• Expertise in claim development and substantiation.
• Strong presentation and pitching experience.
• Clear understanding of FDA promotional regulations and PhRMA Code.
• Proficiency with Veeva/PromoMats.
• Meticulous attention to detail and version control.
• Strong time management in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex medical and scientific concepts into clear, concise copy.
• Create branded HCP campaign materials including websites, detail aids, leave behinds, emails.
• Create HCP medical education campaign materials including slide decks, invites, workbooks and other collateral.
• Lead brands from strategy and copy perspectives with minimal oversight.
• Drive the editorial process from first draft to final proof; ensure accuracy and quality.
• Partner with design, strategy, account and project management teams.
• Ensure all content is on-brand and compliant with US regulations.
• Drive copy and strategic perspectives in client meetings.
• Manage competing priorities.
• Contribute to content for proposals and pitch presentations.
• Stay up to date on current trends in medical education and the US pharma industry.
