Job summary

Wolters Kluwer's UpToDate team is seeking a Senior Content Editor for Medical Education and Medical Practice portfolios. You will lead high-volume content projects, supervise development cycles, and partner with stakeholders to enhance workflows and digital solutions.

You will craft clear, engaging content for print and digital products, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure quality and compliance with editorial standards and legal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in academic and/or healthcare publishing.
• Experience coordinating multiple content projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product development cycle for textbooks, courseware, videos, and digital assets.
• Collaborate with SMEs, authors, vendors, and staff to refine content for multiple platforms.
• Analyze proposals to assess market viability and SME capability per project plan.
• Provide direction on pedagogy, illustrations, writing style, and digital resources.
• Create and monitor project budgets and schedules; prepare management reports.
• Resolve schedule, budget, and vendor/SME performance issues.
• Develop digital assessment, student/instructor resources, case studies, videos.
• Enforce editorial standards and legal/ethical guidelines.
• Evaluate content performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Engage in quality assurance for digital content.
