You will manage high-volume content projects, coordinate with acquisitions, editorial operations, product management, marketing and sales, and collaborate with vendors, authors, and SMEs to deliver exceptional content on time, on spec, and within budget.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in academic or healthcare publishing, with travel under 10%.

• Travel: <10% for team meetings and conferences.

Aufgaben

• You will develop content and assets for print and digital products serving medical education and clinical practice audiences.
• You will oversee your assigned high-volume products during the development cycle to ensure on-time delivery, on-spec, in-scope and within budget.
• Collaborate with SMEs, authors, vendors, and in-house staff to develop clear, engaging content for multiple platforms and customer needs.
• Provide direction to authors/SMEs by analyzing author/SME approach, organization, pedagogy, illustrations, writing style, and digital resources as needed.
• Create and monitor a comprehensive project budget and schedule, and prepare reports for management as needed.
• Resolve quality or scope issues by collaborating with Editorial Operations on schedule, budget/cost, and vendor/freelancer/SME performance.
• Support enrichment of products with digital assessments, student and instructor resources, case studies, videos, and more for digital delivery and discovery.
• Enforce editorial standards and guidelines and ensure compliance with legal and ethical content guidelines.
• Evaluate content performance metrics and suggest improvements to solve customer problems.
• Engage in quality assurance initiatives for digital content.
