Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Medical Collections Specialist to support TLRA collection units. 3–5 years of healthcare billing/collections experience is preferred. Work hours are 8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday, with full-time status and on-site duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare billing or collections preferred.
• Experience in a customer service call center environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective medical collection services aligning with guidelines.
• Document and update patient account information promptly in TLRA systems.
• Handle inbound patient and carrier calls professionally to resolve inquiries.
• Use collection tools to meet or exceed recovery goals and standards.
• Research and analyze account issues to resolve problems timely.
• Maintain daily productivity standards and patient relations.
