athenahealth is seeking a Senior Coding Associate for Customer Insights to ensure customer readiness and adoption of the athenaOne Medical Coding Service. The role requires strong healthcare industry knowledge, coding expertise (CPC/CCS), and the ability to drive process improvements across projects.

You will analyze documentation, configurations, and opportunities to enhance efficiency and outcomes, working with internal teams and clients to deliver value and maintain compliant coding standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate professional experience.
• CPC and/or CCS certification from AAPC or AHIMA required.
• 3+ years of professional medical coding experience.
• Experience with cross-functional groups and stakeholder communication.
• Auditing medical charts for coding accuracy and compliance.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, OneNote.

• Analyze provider documentation and audits to identify improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate customer configurations to identify gaps and potential disruptions.
• Design solutions prioritizing automation and process improvement.
• Manage multiple complex projects independently and prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Create presentations for internal leaders and customers.
• Provide mentorship and content for new hires across Service Integrity.
