Job summary

Beyond Blue Corporation seeks a Senior PB Coder to code complex professional billing encounters and serve as an expert on coding compliance and accuracy. You will support providers and coding staff through education, feedback, and resolution of difficult cases, ensuring adherence to regulations and internal policies.

Key duties include auditing, staying current with payer rules, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional coding experience.
• RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CPC-A, CCA, CCS-P or equivalent certifications required.
• Experience in professional coding within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assign CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS codes to PB services with high complexity.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards in the department.
• Provide education and guidance on coding compliance to providers and staff.
• Review coding audits and address findings for improvement.
• Monitor documentation requirements and coding accuracy.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle and compliance teams to reduce denials.
• Develop training resources and assist in onboarding new staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
