Job summary

Abramson Labor Group, based in Burbank, CA, seeks a Senior Medical Care Coordinator to lead a team of 8–10 medical care coordinators in ensuring injured workers receive timely medical care. You will mentor, train, and help the team stay on track with case timelines and compliance.

In this role you’ll drive quality, identify roadblocks, and continuously improve workflows while supporting a collaborative, client-focused environment that values integrity and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in workers’ compensation, personal injury, or medical case coordination.
• Experience with case management systems in a high-volume environment.
• Strong organization skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Sharp attention to detail.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Be the day-to-day mentor and first point of contact for 8–10 Medical Care Coordinators.
• Help train and onboard new team members so they feel confident from day one.
• Step in to cover when teammates are out, so clients never miss a beat.
• Spot roadblocks early and escalate issues to keep cases progressing.
• Monitor team inboxes and workloads to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
• Help teammates share clear process updates with clients when needed.
• Review case workflows and run audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Track team productivity using our case management system.
• Turn what you find into practical, helpful feedback for the team.
