Job summary

Pediatric Associates is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to join our patient-centered team in Florida. You will perform advanced MA duties under clinician supervision, support patient flow, manage vaccines, and assist with exams and treatment of pediatric patients.

Preferred candidates have MA certification, high school diploma, BLS, and at least 5 years of MA experience in healthcare. The role involves travel to multiple office locations and remote/telework options as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• MA Diploma/Certification required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Driver’s license required upon hire and for duration of employment.
• Minimum 5 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Perform MA duties at an advanced level under clinician supervision.
• Lead daily clinic workflow and resolve patient flow issues.
• Manage inventory, ordering, tracking, and vaccines.
• Oversee vaccine storage, cold chain compliance, and excursion response.
• Train and mentor staff; conduct competency validations.
• Support complex procedures and ensure readiness of rooms and equipment.
• Lead quality improvement efforts and KPI adherence.
• Coordinate communication across providers, staff, and leadership.
• Analyze workflows and recommend process improvements.
• Provide advanced patient education including post-care instructions.
