Job summary

Pediatric Associates Family of Companies in Trinity, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant to deliver high-quality, team-based patient care under clinician supervision. The role supports chronic disease management, vaccinations, vital signs, and administrative tasks in a pediatric primary care setting.

You will assist with examinations, immunizations, vaccine reconciliation, and documentation. A High School Diploma and MA certification, BLS, and a valid driver’s license are required; 1 year MA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• MA Diploma/Certification, OR 3 years MA experience.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Current, valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum 1 year Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high quality patient experience and ensure a safe environment.
• Record intake vitals and notify clinician of abnormal findings.
• Document medical history, allergies, and medications in records.
• Assist with examinations and age-appropriate screenings under supervision.
• Vaccination reconciliation and patient education prior to vaccines.
• Maintain vaccine cold chain and report excursions as needed.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen handling.
• Support referrals and follow-up appointments; manage documentation.
