Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an experienced Medical Assistant II to join our ambulatory practice team. You will greet patients, collect information, and coordinate with providers to ensure smooth patient flow.

You will perform vitals, basic procedures, and assist with record management in our EMR system. The role requires a Professional Medical Assistant Certificate, 1–3 years of related experience, and solid communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate required.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and serves as a communication resource.
• Obtains vitals and prepares patients for examination.
• Performs EKGs, injections, phlebotomy and specimen collection as directed.
• Maintains patient records and accurate documentation in EMR.
• Assists with record requests and ensures proper patient identification.
